It's not everyday (in fact, it's almost never) that you see an article on game manuals. So when I saw this one I felt it was my duty to share it with rdocs visitors. It's an article discussing the past, present, and future of game manuals with examples of companies that have treated game documentation as an essential part of the package and an art form unto itself.
Just to get it out of the way before people start uploading, requesting, and complaining about it not being posted... the Fallout 3 manual will not be made available on replacementdocs due to Bethesda's draconian embargo on their manuals.
So, if you want to see it up here you'll need to contact Bethesda requesting that they change their stance on this topic. This isn't unheard of as Blizzard has changed their stance in the past. Blizzard also previously wanted all of their docs removed.
Until I hear otherwise from Bethesda, though, there will be no Fallout 3 docs. Sorry.

First of all, I want to thank everyone for the response regarding the editor position. I'd also like to formally welcome elmo069 and Eyeless One to our team of editors! They have both made it through our grueling application process and will soon be slinging PDFs with the best of them.
We will be getting the new editors up to speed on our process and then setting them to work on the pile of pending uploads. Should we deem it necessary to bring more editors on in the future, we will revisit past editor test submissions. You can always feel free to upload the test at any time if you'd like to be considered for the next time we are recruiting.
